0-16 slowly beginning to be patched up
I became a Lions fan in 2008, little did I know that we were going to go 0-16. I do remember people’s attitudes and media reactions at the time were so depressing. Since then we have obviously made improvements, one of the biggest is doing everything possible to forget 0-16 and move on. I loved the draft of Zach Follett from the start because of his attitude. He was never a part of the 0-16 team and didn’t carry that as baggage with him. His attitude is so positive and has such a killer passion for the game I really hope that optimism becomes infective throughout the clubhouse. Seeing a player so happy to play for the Lions and in fact taking “Pride” in it…is simply awesome. I hope he sees more time on the field and can’t wait the see him take some heads off on special teams.
