With the 11th pick of the 2010 Pride of Detroit Community Mock Draft, the Denver Broncos select Alabama linebacker Rolando McClain.

Here is CapitolLions' reasoning for the pick:

Denver fans are going to be very excited about the consensus All-American and Butkus Award winner patrolling the middle of Mile High.

Although not the fastest linebacker we have seen coming out of college, his speed is more than adequate. With the addition of Jamal Williams at nose tackle, he should be able to get free to use his excellent read and react ability to make some huge plays. He isn't a liability in pass coverage and takes very good angles. His change of direction skills are top notch and he is adept at breaking down play action and draws before getting sucked in. He should make an immediate impact and the Broncos are fortunate to get him at this point in the draft.
