Ernie and Rob Sims are half brothers (Same father Ernie Sr, different mothers).  They were born almost 1 year apart, Rob the elder and raised in Ohio. Ernie the younger born in December almost 1 year later raised in Florida.  My question is are these two brother close?

I know it has be reported that the two are 1/2 brothers, but I have yet to hear anything from either Ernie or Rob endorsing the trade.    It just seems odd that the reporters were not all over this angle, and it seems odd that they were both born so close together but yet were raised in two different parts of the country, and no one is talking about the connection.  It would be just the lions luck to enter into a family feud.
