A run support and special teams guy
When he was with Houston he was above average in run support, but was terrible in pass coverage. His primary claim to fame while with the Texans was good special teams work. Not a good choice if the Lions need to improve the pass defense.
I don't see him being better than anything we already have.

My issue is that
the def line for the Gmen is pretty deep and pretty damn good. and they couldn’t cover for crap in that secondary even with Tuck and company. Not sure this will do us a whole lot of good.

The Giants DL was not what it was made out to be on paper in August of last year
depth is only depth when you don’t have to rely on your backups, which the Giants did.
CC Brown was atrocious last year regardless.

at least when hes healthy he has the potential to be a good CB
