Dewayne White Drafted 1st in 2010 UFL Draft

First it was Daunte Culpepper who made the jump to the UFL and now Dewayne White was draft by the Omaha Nighthawks with the 1st overall pick in the 2010 draft. Interesting that he got no interest from any NFL teams. Also, former Lions WR John Standeford was drafted by the Florida Tuskers of the UFL in the 3rd round. Draft is in the 4th round of 12. Wonder if any other former Lions will get picked up???? GO LIONS!!!

I hope he is sucessful for them he was a good guy for us. I was sure white would be on a NFL roster but hey maybe this new league will be a great place to get a fresh start…I didn’t know standeford was even playing anymore I figured he’d be i the IFL or AFL if he was

Round 6 – Omaha. He will be joining White. Interesting that he was drafted after Garvin and Standeford….

I have very little knowledge of the UFL, so I have no idea what these Omaha Nighthawks are like, but if they are picking first then I expect they need the help.
