I know we're all Lions fans
But DeSean has 9 touchdowns last year compared to Calvin’s 5. DeSean had a yards/reception of 18.5 to Calvin’s 14.7.
I know a lot of people would say that Calvin is better (I agree with that), but DeSean put up the stats last year and until we can quantify stats independent of the quarterback, that is how they have to rank them.
Plus DeSean can return kicks, which will factor into his rating. I also think Calvin is cursed by having a poor team around him, but if the rest of his team was better, he would get rated higher.
My two favorite teams are the Tigers and Brewers. Drunk tigers. That sounds about right.
Me in 140 characters
Watch how good deshawn is with the Eagles this season
I mean he has not a great qb, only good reciever, watch people play him double and his stats should decrease. I dont believe that two people should be rated that highly and thats Moss and Smith, dont get me wrong they were great in the day but only thing that makes moss half way decent is Brady and well smith is losing his touch. IMO of course

I gotta disagree
Steve Smith has always had a mediocre QB and no second threat around him for most of his career, and still done very well.
The beginning of the end of the misery
agree with both of you
I think desean will still be a good reciver I belive Mcnabb made it much easier for him he will really have to work at it more now instead of the QB doing most of it for him.

Lions claimed LB Lee Campbell off waivers from the Giants.
An undrafted rookie, Campbell led Minnesota in tackles for each of the past three seasons. While he lacks range, Campbell could catch on as a backup middle linebacker and special teamer.
