Vikings Claim Ex-Lion Marko Mitchell
I'm still not used to seeing players get picked up right after the Lions let them go, but yet again it has happened.
Marko Mitchell, the wide receiver who was released by the Lions on Friday, has already been picked up by the Vikings. Minnesota claimed him today, meaning Mitchell was not without a team for very long.
Mitchell was originally claimed by the Lions earlier in the offseason after Washington let him go. I thought his height would give him a chance to at least compete for a spot on the roster, but he was the one to go when draft pick Jason Fox signed with the team.
