You can say what you will about how great LeBron James is...But when it comes down to it he ruined any chance of himself being a legend....If you look at all other "legends" ie.. Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, they all stayed with their drafting teams throughout their whole career...MJ's one year stint with the Wizards doesn't count though cuz he was managing the team and was sick of losing, so he played and missed the playoffs by one game...Even Reggie Miller is considered a legend, he never won a title but stayed loyal to his team, he would have never been considered a legend if he left Indiana...LeBron having to change teams to stack it, proves just how good he really is...That guy is so overrated that it's rediculous...You stick Kobe on that Cavs team he just left and they would have won the championships. MJ, Magic, Bird, Reggie and many others would have brought back a championship with the team that the Cavs had last year. MJ still to this day is the only legend that has proved to play with a sub-par team and win a championship...All he had till the Rodman era was Pippen...That's what sets LeBron far away from legendary, Kobe couldn't do it without a legit big man, won with Shaq, take Shaq away and didn't make the playoffs, get Gasol and wins again...But at least Kobe can win with a big man. James couldn't do it with Shaq and Jamison plus Mo and West, also at one point had Boozer!
It's pretty apparent that James can't do it like the legends did, so in time is he legend? Whats your take?
