He will be added with the first update. These rosters are the ones shipping with the game.

Look about right
Would have given Best a higher rating though, havent seen him play yet, but from what we saw in college, he was a beast.
Agreed
I think Best should definitely be rated higher then a 75, it makes me very curious as to what C.J. Spiller was rated…
Now that's some bullshit
They have Spiller as a 79, but I don’t really see how he’s that much better then Best. They’re almost identical in measureables and play style, the only stat I could really see Best being significantly lower in would be Durability, and obviously that stat doesn’t affect the overall rating very much, if at all.
Don't worry Mo
If he has a couple hundred yard games out of the gates they’ll bump him up pretty quick.
They might be as fast at top speed.
Best has nasty acceleration that brown can’t touch, not to mention the other things. Ya’ll kno that tho
These rankings mean a lot less than they did years ago.
Now you can just update the game and get more accurate rankings as the season progresses. So if Best plays well, he’ll get his bump.
My two favorite teams are the Tigers and Brewers. Drunk tigers. That sounds about right.

Secondary
Wow. Yes, we probably have the worst secondary in the league, but I didn’t think our CB’s should be rated THAT poorly. At least they showed some respect to Delmas. Shit.
its about right, sadly
All of our cornerbacks are really unproven and young, so unless they play to there potential it isnt getting any better.
10 Rating Points Lower than Chicago Bears...Ridiculous
Best/Felton should be higher, CJ should be higher, Scheffler should be higher, Stephen Peterman should be higher, Levy should be higher, Julian Peterson should be lower IMO, and Jonathan Wade should be higher as well.
CJ should be higher?
I don’t think so…. and neither should Wade, he is a joke.

Welp
At least I know I’ll be a pretty damn good Madden player if I can consistently win with those guys on Xbox Live.
i find that very intrsting
Dominic Raiola – 83 (83 run block, 80 pass block)
Dylan Gandy – 68 (82 run block, 88 pass block)
awarness and strength are huge for Olineman on madden
especially Awareness
58 vs 87
thats the difference in picking up stunts and not :)

Anyone know?
What’s this swagger rating got to do with the game? I’m definitely renting first this year.
Everything I’ve read sounds like another step back really. No work on franchise mode, this gametrack or whatever they’re calling it will be gone next year just like QB vision, I felt like M10 was like playing a game of rock paper scissors with good graphics. I just don’t think they’ll be able to make a good game until they wise up and take a year off to make it the best ever.
Every year they have a deadline they can’t meet and they shove a couple new features in that no one is asking for. Take a year off, offer updated rosters as DLC and get this game back to being great again.
whats so bad a bout it??
there fixing the adeo witch has been very bad..
nothing wrong with franchise so dont fix it
QB visen was gay.. gametrack?? that 1/2 time thing?? good am sick of taping X a milen times to get back to playeing
only think they need to add is make it the the fans in the stadium make a bigger impact
on 3rd it shakes more..
if you are the away team and are up by 30 or more people start leaving..
if you are doing bad that year harder to sell out..
and add a mine game where you are a fan running on the filed trying to get some where and not get close lined by some FS..
Franchise Mode
Are you for real bud? All they did in Madden 10 was remove features making it a shadow of what it was before. 1st time that I know of where franchise mode ends. 30 years, I remember playing games in the 2040’s on ps2. No training camp/drills to improve. The owner options…all gone except for stadium sponsorships which also removed all but like 3 of the sponsors. Another thing…once you get into the later years of franchise mode your team will be in the negative for earnings. I was actually over a billion dollars in debt at the end of franchise mode because the game doesn’t account for the hike in player salaries. By the 2020’s in this year’s game a backup in the high 70’s will demand a contract paying over 10 million a year.
30 years of draft classes. Always the same players with the same ratings and the same progression. If you want someone to hit that lofty 99 overall rating you have to move a LB to DE. No one will get over 96. Should I go on?
Gametrack is the new feature where they will limit the type of plays you’re able to call based on whatever the designers feel are the kinds of plays warranted by the field position you’re in. For all the people who want to be able to design their own plays again now you won’t be able to use all the plays in the game.
Oh and Det32…
witch=which
milen=million
playeing=playing
visen=vision
a bout=about
taping=tapping
A little effort sometimes man.
lol
Maybe, just once, someone will call me "sir" without adding, "you're making a scene."

Payin yer backups 10 million?
You must have the salary cap turned off… which means you have no right to gripe when you end up in debt.
My brother-in-law and I are just starting the 2022 season. I just had to make some painful cuts to get under the cap, including losing my starting HB. There is NO WAY that I can pay a backup that kind of money.
Also, my brother-in-law’s QB is a 98, so that “can’t get over 96” thing is simply not true.
I believe the franchise mode has ended after 30 seasons for quite some time now. I did a league where I simmed every game for one of the PS2 versions, just for fun, and I definitely remember it saying “congratulations, you have successfully completed 30 seasons!” and then it was over.
………………………………………………………………………………..
So anyhow, I disagree with you on a lot of these points, but you did make a few good ones IMHO too, such as the same 30 draft classes (print a master list from the internet, anyone?), the owner options (I liked being able to charge only $1 for beer at my stadium!), the LB to DE move (although just because a guy gets the 99 OVR from making the jump doesn’t mean he’ll be successful there). Also, I HATE not being able to use my own playbook in franchise mode… that was one of the best parts of those old PS2 versions, sitting up at 3am, tinkering with plays to catch my player opponents off guard.
The training camp mini games were fun for awhile, but then they just got ridiculous. I don’t miss them. It was pretty dumb to be able to add speed or throwing power to a player. I think that those are things a player is born with, and cannot really be improved upon. (Maybe 1-3 points throughout an entire career.)
Ok, so anyhow, sorry for the long post, but I’ve been playing Madden since 91 on my Genesis, and I took major issue with a lot of the things you said here.

On the ratings...
Keep in mind that this year, they have been saying they were trying to scale back the scores on ratings. A 70-75, then, is more of an ‘average’ player, and players in the 80s are their teams stars… players in the 90s are (rightfully so, IMO) the stars of the NFL.
Look at it from that perspective, and things seem to become a little more clear. Although the designers for Madden trying to explain that Pettigrew is better at his position than Stafford would have to come up with something pretty good to probe anything to me.
Decent ratings
Shows how poor our secondary and LB’s seemingly are. Hopefully they can outperform expectations.
RIP Robyn Bailey 1961 - 2010. I love you mum.
Anybody else start Marvin White last year on Madden?
His ratings suck but he’s an absolute beast because he’s almost fast as Delmas and he hits just as hard too (on the game). His coverage numbers look totally horrible, but he actually doesn’t do any worse than anyone else I’ve put back there. I recommend using him if you’re going to play online, and put Ko at one of the CB positions because he has good coverage skills.

Ko is waaaay too slow though
But I agree on Manuel, he was fine for me last season.
