Group Outing Deadline!!!

as it stands right now, we don’t even have enough people to qualify for the group rate. I’m not sure if everyone is waiting until the last minute or if we really don’t have anyone going. I guess I assumed if you voted on the seating options you were at least considering going. We had somewhere around 65 votes and many people were planning on taking a friend…so far I have recieved money for two tickets plus the three I am buying.

I hope everyone is just waiting???

wondering why no one has bought tickets. lions_sucker said he was getting 2-4, coolbreeze said he was going, NYCLionsfan said he was defiantely going with his fiance, Nate D. said he was getting 7-8 tickets…am I missing something here???…are you guys buying tickets on your own (individual game tickets aren’t even available yet), or you just can’t make it now?

So far, I believe Profiler, Enforcer, GRLion, myslef, and I think KDawg are going.

I’ll extend this until Sunday and buy the tickets on Monday morning. Lets get a decent group together for this. If anyone still is worried about the paypal thing and trusting me with their $$$, please let me know…my personal email is on the paypal link, send me an email or look me up on facebook. KDawg and I have been talking on Facebook every now and then. He was one of the people originally concerned about sending me his money…I think he would put in a good word for me now if you ask him.

if I switch it to the cheap seats and refund the difference back to those who have already purchased. Those of you who have already purchased let me know if you are ok with that. If so, I can change the prices on the link to around $48 (including paypal fees and lions service charge)…I will have to check on the exact price. I could do that as soon as tonight and leave the link open until monday or tuesday night. At this point, we do not qualifiy for the group rate…would anyone else go if the price was $15 or more lower? It would be corner of the end in the upper level. We need about 8 more people to get the group rate.

My personal opinion is that you can see better from the upper level than the lower level (I voted for upper the first time). I have sat in both multiple times. it isn’t the silverdome…you don’t need binoculars to see from the upper level.

since we don’t qualify for the group rate, we have to wait for individual game tickets to go on sale, so I will leave the paypal link up for anyone else interested in going for now. Hopefully we can still make it to 15 so we can at least get the discount.

Anyone who has purchased and isn’t interested in waiting to see if we get enough people, let me know if you want you money refunded. Otherwise, when individual tickets go on sale I can still order tickets for anyone that has paid…we will need to work something out becasue the price paid is with a group discount…we could just pick a cheaper section or you can get me the money later. I can foot the bill for the extra $5-$10 (or whatever it is) per person for now for the 6 guys that have paid if we just end up buying them at regular price.

Profiler, if you want to try the Jets thing out, do it. I’m not wasting anymore time on this…like i said before, i would try to limit their #‘s somehow. If we end up with 25+ people at this point, we will probably won’t be able to get all of the seats together because we have waited so long to order.

Is it too late to get in on the outting? And if not, what is the situation as far as seat location, cost, tailgating, etc if any of that is finalized yet?
