Lions DT Ndamukong Suh. Monster.
I think Ndamukong Suh is special. Real special. Seems like an obvious statement, right? I think we got a steal at #2. That's how much of a steal I think he is. He's committed, determined, capable, strong, fast, mentally tough, mature, and focused. As the Lions approach time to have him put pen to paper, there has been little discussion of whether he will make too much. People just want him in camp. There is a reason for that. NO ONE is talking about Gerald McCoy. Perhaps that is a mistake on the part of the media. I am sure McCoy will be great too for Tampa Bay. But Suh is something special. He's going to be really good for Detroit. Good defensive players will want to play next to him as he grows in the NFL.
In light of him OFFICIALLY becoming a part of the Pride, let's check out some videos that exhibit exactly why this man is a MONSTER.
1. Ndamukong Suh preparing for the 2010 NFL Combine at Michael Johnson Performance:
2. Suh Making Sure Colt McCoy has Nightmares of the #93 for Years to Come:
I have to say....I get chills listening to the Husker fans yelling SUUUUUUUUUUUH when he gets in on the play...it's something I hope to hear for years to come in Ford Field.
3. Ndamukong Suh INT vs. Colorado for a TD:
4. Suh as a WR - - - TD catch vs. Kansas
5. And just for recent nostalgia's sake:
And let me also say this..........Jahvid Best is going to be good too. Remember, Chris Johnson had ALL KINDS of criticism coming out of college about how he was too small. He's now the most talented RB in the league. I'm just saying. Best has impressed so far. We could have two VERY special players on our hands from one round of drafting.
