Pick #4 Signed - Trent Williams is under contract
Looks like the Redskins got #4 under contract. It shouldn't be too hard to get #3 and #2 from there. Even if Bradford holds out we have a starting point for linemen salaries drafted in round 1. They really are rolling the dice on this because if Suh signs first and signs for less than McCoy was going to get than McCoy has no leverage on Tampa Bay. If McCoy signs first than that may or may not give Suh leverage it all depends on how much McCoy signs for. The door swings both ways it could bite them in the ass if they wait too long on the other guy!

McCoy
Now that Williams has set the “floor” it looks like McCoy is waiting for Bradford to sign to see what the ceiling is gonna be. So the Lions should take the bull by the horns and start getting closer with Suh and not worry about what the sooners are all planning.

Hoping to see it get done
Graham signed with the Eagles and Tebow w/ the Broncs which should give some kind of range for Best now too.
Hopefully everyone can stop getting butthurt over Suh possibly holding out for a couple practices. For as much as everyone liked him it sure turned around quick over the last few days. Some of these agents need to be reigned in asap
Why?
This whole business of waiting to see what someone else gets to decide what you’re
going to pay someone is Bull $hit!. They know what they are willing to pay and, Suh knows what he wants. Get together, hammer it out, and sign a damn contract.
I hate this crap!
Expectations don't produce!
C'mon salary cap a fixed $ amount will stop this agent bullshit for unproven players
The bad teams are continually financially strapped against the cap the NFL will become so much more competetive and trading up for the #1 pick will be feasable for other teams.
Completely agree

I also think another item should be put in place along with the cap also
Since the rookie wage scale will be a set rate, I think anyone acquiring an agent prior to signing their rookie contract will be ineligible for the draft. And an agent or his associates who contact a college player shall be banned from doing business with the NFL. This will stop the agents from hawking the college players and help the NCAA also the cap may entice more players to stay for their senior year.

good point
couldn’t agree more. Besided in college they need to focus on education and football ( if they really wanna be pro). They idea of agents shouldn’t even be in there mindset. I agree completley with any agent caught dealing in the NCAA should be banned from the NFL that will put an end to it. I would definatly say no agents prior to entering the draft. If you say before a contract the only thing I see is endorsment deals and it will raise a fit with alot people I am sure.

I hope Williams has to pass the same conditioning drill as AH before he can practice
If he doesn’t AH has a complaint against the team with the NFLPA he would have an excellent retaliation discrimination case to bring forward. AH will get even eventually on the field of play. He will gladly ride the bench and collect money.
Just curious about this
I wonder if the suspension of Lewand has any part in this hang up with SUH not being signed yet???? I doubt it; but I am just a bit curious.
