Today, the Lions officially added linebacker and special teams star Isaiah Ekejiuba to the team. In order to make room for him on the roster, they released linebacker Lee Campbell.
Campbell was picked up in June when the Lions claimed him off waivers. He is an undrafted free agent from the University of Minnesota and originally landed with the Giants. After they let him go, the Lions gave him a spot on the team, but that spot has now been taken by Ekejiuba.
