Thursday Notes: Copeland Bryan Has MCL Injury
- Copeland Bryan was put on injured reserve because he is still suffering from an MCL injury that happened last year. Apparently the knee has not healed very well, as he is already out for the 2010 season.
- Kirk Barton is the latest player to be released by the Lions and quickly picked up by another team, as the Broncos claimed him off waivers.
- Ndamukong Suh is eighth in the NFL in jersey sales from the start of April to the end of June. Tim Tebow is still No. 1 in all of the NFL, but Suh is the next rookie on the list, ahead of players like Sam Bradford (ninth), Dez Bryant (15th) and Eric Berry (18th).
- Caleb Campbell thinks not being able to play football for the last two years was actually a blessing.

Anybody else seen a Tebow Broncos jersey yet here in Michigan?
I’ve seen some Suh jerseys here and there but never a Tebow.

I've got a Suh
But to answer your question, no I haven’t seen one. If I did it would have some blood on it by time I was done. And no it wouldn’t be mine.

This is off topic
But just curious, does anyone know around what time teams begin to sign their 1st round picks? Just wondering when we can expect to hear news on Suh and/or Best, and if the Lions are behind/ahead of signing them.
Whenever they can
Stafford signed before the draft Crabtree signed after the season started.

I liked the little gem from Follett in the Campbell article
“I’d probably get arrested because football’s my only time I get to go out there and hit people as hard as I can, and it’s legal,” Follett said. “I need that once a year.”
always nice to be reminded of the kind of collision junkie we have on the team in Follett.
Hey that's a timeout, I can play right? yeah, get me--get the F-- Help me up...I can throw the ball if you need me to throw the ball...
How can people still be buying Tebow jerseys?
He may not even see the field this year, or even next year. Broncos fans are mad.
Actually, you’ll probably find that all the jerseys have been bought by Florida fans…

2010 Wests Tigers : Current record - 7-5 : Current Position - 5th : Last game - Defeated the Canterbury Bulldogs 19 - 12
This is kind of taking it O/T but something worth mentioning
As someone living outside the USA you might not be aware of this, but Tebow represents a couple of different things to different people in this country. To Florida fans he’s a famous alum and star athlete, but there is also a large section of the country that admires (or loathes) him for his outspoken conservative and Christian views. That is also part of what makes him such a polarizing figure. So it isn’t just Florida fans buying his jersey, but also people respecting him for his views on things they care about.

I go to school in Kansas
with alot of Broncos fans, and every single one of them was pissed off that they drafted Tebow. On another note, I went to high school in Florida and all of my friends on Facebook that night were giddy as hell that he got drafted. I think it’s mostly people that thought Tebow was god in college buying it rather than Broncos fans that are really excited to have him.
Bullocks whacked. Page on the way?
