Jason Hunter to...Denver!?
Jason Hunter was grabbed up today, but we all knew that was only a matter of time. The fact that the Broncos grabbed him is a twist, since he probably will be playing against us in the second preseason game. It must be strange to have your first game against your former team.
I'm still confused about the high tender, but whatever.
I guess it's good he's still in the NFL, but i sincereley hope he is completley shut down by our O-Line.

The Bronco fans seem to think they'll try and make him a rush OLB in their 3-4.
I think he has some potential in that respect possibly.
Elvis Dumervil could be out for season
So in that sense, it does make sense. they need someone, and hope his production can step up as a rusher.
Cool
Great, now he can give the Broncs all our DL assignments before the game.
He probably won’t even play in this game but, his knowledge of our team can hurt.
Expectations don't produce!
Ultimately, if the Broncos care that much about a pointless preseason game
than so be it. I think they’d be a lot better off picking up division rival cuts than preseason opponent cuts if that’s their master plan.
I hope
he does tell the offense every assignment. Then when our D line dominates, we all know it’s legit.
In the regular season they have a waiting period for waivers
if you are trying to grab a player for the team you are about to play.
I forgot what they are, but they really make it a pain to try and grab a guy to just get a jump on the opposing teams game plan.
I think you are thinking of the waiting period for practice squad players signed
from an upcoming opponent ATL those are different than waiver players

Good luck to Hunter
I hope he sucks Saturday then kicks ass the rest of the season
In life, a man is either the hammer or the anvil. Ndamukong Suh is both
Pride of Detroits village idiot
2 days after joining a completely new defensive scheme
I can’t imagine he’s going to be a world beater.

I do live in Green Bay but grew up in the UP. Most of us were Packer fans in the Houghton, hancock area. It’s the way I’ve been for 47 years
well
Green Bay doesnt have a baseball or hockey team. Thats probably why

What about the Brewers or Bucks?
I think people in the Upper Penisula just follow the popular/better teams at the time. You give the Brewers a couple World Series win, Bucks some NBA championship appearances and the Lions win some playoffs game … even the Super Bowl, U.P will shift alliances so fast you’ll feel the breeze in Toledo.
I have also seen ...
Nothing more wild, tense and unique then watching a game when during the Michigan Fire-Arm Deer season in a U.P. Bar when the Packers play the Lions.
Best friends
A few of my friends growing up liked the Lions and their were heated arguments. Also a big factor where we grew up was we got the Green Bay TV stations. Packers were on TV every Sunday not the Lions.
I understand abt packers ..
Gotta put ourselves in their shoes and think …
But I don’t get why you would choose blackhawks over the wings … bandwagon ? .. cuz there r wing fans as far as California and AZ … UP is not that far ..
Not bandwagon if I was I'd be a Wing fan like all my friends
No Tony Esposito went to Michigan Tech in Houghton where i grew up. Then went to the Blackhawks Been a fan my whole life. Suffered for 47 years of my life till last year without seeing a cup. I’m diehard for the teams I support Michigan football, Tigers the only place I waver in my sporting world is I love Michigan basketball and Michigan State basketball. Not sure but I think Izzo has me swayed.
hmm ya
You can conflicting fandoms? I guess thats what I’ll call it. How can you like Michigan and Michigan State? You’re either a UM fan or a state fan. I mean I understand watching state basketball and rooting for them in the NCAA tournament (as UM is never there) b/c they are from the same state, but supproting both at hte same time is kinda wierd

yeah, but you guys were switching to a 3-4.
Denver also plays a 3-4. We absolutely had a need and a spot for him. Neither you or Denver really did.

They had a need at OLB
with Dumervil out for the season. He was productive for us last year and was more of a numbers cut than a skill cut.
I was shocked and disappointed when he was released but the DL really has improved. I hope he does well in denver. He deserves it. one hard working guy.
Lions fans deserve better than being the laughing stock of the NFL. Lets all hope they are heading in the right direction finally.
