Fantasy Football: Jahvid Best > Felix Jones?

234x60_ffc_medium

There was an interesting debate on ESPN about Jahvid Best vs. Felix Jones when it comes to fantasy football. The question is who has a better chance of going from a fantasy football sleeper to a fantasy football star, and despite being only a rookie, Christopher Harris gave Best the nod over Jones. Why? Well, for Harris it all comes down to what piece of the pie each player will have, and he thinks Best is a lock for at least 20 touches a game. Here is the full breakdown:

I buy that

Look at the depth chart Felix will have to split with barber and choice. Best only real competition for carries will come from K smooth.

I'm in 2 autodraft leagues

I made sure to put Felix on my “do not draft” list this year. He’s too injury-prone and a slow healer and thats fucked me the past 2 seasons. I just got tired stashing him on my roster and juggling other players while he doesn’t come back for 8+ weeks and was only supposed to be out 2 weeks.
I have Best in those 2 leagues instead. I’ll gamble on him. Best is lower risk/higher reward IMHO.
I know I won’t get squat with Jones. I made sure to draft Choice in the POD league because it’s just a matter of time for Jones to get injured.

I agree

I think Best will see more carries here than Jones will in Dallas. It’s not like Best has Marion Barber to fight it out with, no disrepect to K-SMooth.

RIP Robyn Bailey 1961 - 2010. I love you mum.
