at least since Barry was there. When I was younger, I played for a pee wee team named the Bath Lions, and then I found out about the Detroit Lions, and it’s been history since.

he ran real well against the 2’s. I remember he had a huuuge run in the preseason. He never shows up much against the 1s in the regular though

He had 217 carries and was hurt like 3 or 4 different ways because he was getting no blocking…
And how are we “deep” at running back? Mo mo is old and slower than smith, De De Dorsey is a UFL or CFL pickup… brown is a special teamer..

and a lot can go into those stats.. for instance he was taking less carries a game.. so he wasn’t working as hard.. smiths carries towards the end of the game to run the clock hurt his stats..
plus smith had another injury he played with before the season ender..

its easy to play well when you’re playing against the 3 string. Do you understand that? Smith is playing against the 1st string. It’s a big difference.

would not have happened if it was smith. He would have ran into the pile and tried to move it. he may have scored but he would not have walked in untouched.

we all like smith but its a new time come to terms with it and better start cheering for our new starting ruinning back

after a season lost due to injury. How quick you are to turn on anyone. Our D-Line had an eh game, should we throw them out? KSmith has plenty of juice left, and I say we keep him for the veteran presence and the solid play we have gotten out of him

We didn’t get to see much of Dorsey but he looked solid against 2nd – 3rd stringers too
it is one preseason game

Smith had a wonderful rookie year. We all thought he was our man after that. You can’t tell me that you didn’t like him during his season that he was healthy. Jesus H. Christ. It’s one game. Barry freakin Sanders had bad games. Let this one go.

To see O Line holding on … Accurate throws .. AND receivers catching the ball …
It seems easy BUT I remember Joey Harrington throwing accurately so many times, just to recs have drop his passes .. Every damn game …
Not saying Joey was great … just that when I saw the evening game after lions loss, every team caught the passes .. and I used to wonder .. when will I get to see that from our team …
