Video: Louis Delmas Accidentally Knocks Kids Over During Introductions

Louis Delmas was excited to play in his first preseason game last Saturday. Actually, he was a little too excited, because when he was introduced, he ran out of the tunnel, danced and accidentally knocked some kids over.

I'll just let Delmas explain what happened.

"I'm so used to having so much space and I came out and felt a little bump on my butt and I looked around and there are kids all over the ground. I felt bad,'' Delmas said.

Even before the game Delmas was ready to knock some people over, regardless of whether he meant to or not.

no news on the kids?

Any concussions? bruised foreheads? Torn ACLs or MCLs?

:P

Lions fans deserve better than being the laughing stock of the NFL. Lets all hope they are heading in the right direction finally.

Delmas took a good angle, but it looks like he went for the knock-out instead of wrapping up properly

Hey that's a timeout, I can play right? yeah, get me--get the F-- Help me up...I can throw the ball if you need me to throw the ball...

No NFL "Play 60" for Delmas ?

Could he at least be put on the Practice Squad for this community outreach? I mean, he’s good—give him another chance! (JK about all this – I’m a WMU grad like Delmas so he’s my fave on the whole team. Let everyone else come out as amped as he does.) BTW, a plus-one for n4ry4’s comment above. Love it! Bring on da Bears!!!!

Thanks for putting this on the front page Sean,

I put it in a fanshot, (but no-one looks at those)

Look for My Little Cousin!!! Future LineBacker!!!

The Kid in the Honolulu Blue Lions hat right in front of the camera crew in the yellow vests, and next to the kid in the red bandanna.

I told him to go to the game in his full-pads. Since he was gonna be on the field. I’m glad he didn’t take my advice. Had he been on the other side. He might have gotten PanCakeD!!!!

It should have been a lighthearted moment, but..

shouldn’t he have stopped and helped them up? Is it just me? Maybe I’ve just got a soft spot because I have a kid.

Louis Delmas

Just as long as he does that to opposing wide receivers and running backs next time…
