Patriots put CB Bodden on injured reserve with bad shoulder
Since he used to play for us I thought maybe he still has some fans here so I put this out there. Bummer for Leigh, GL bud hope you come back healthy next year.
FOXBOROUGH, Mass. -- The New England Patriots lost a key player Tuesday when Leigh Bodden, their best cornerback, was placed on injured reserve.
Bodden, who led the Patriots with five interceptions last season, went on the season-ending list with a shoulder injury. He had been bothered by a knee injury earlier in training camp and returned to practice last week. He played in Thursday night's 36-35 exhibition loss to the St. Louis Rams.

Al Harris and Atari Bigby were also put on the PUP today
Packers will be missing 2 DB starters the first time the Lions play them

He tore his thumbnail off, nothign to really stop him
Camarillo looked good, caught two passes before i turned it off. AP is still AP, and we better hope they still suck on their offensive line blocking because they are starting to get it together. Chris Cook makes mistakes, and has missed 2 days of practice with a torn miniscus. Their safeties are not the best in terms of takeaways but played good positionally. Winfield is a beast at corner, going to be fun watching him and Megatron go at it. Thier LB are pretty strong too and DL of course. Gerhart is decent but not great. Berrian is a liability. He dropped lots of balls and caused one pick when Favre put it right on his numbers. Javon Walker is rusty too, they will probably cut him when Rice comes back if not before.

Leigh Bodden should never have got to training camp
seeing how much money he stole from the Lions.
Anyways, wish him well.
[...]when Giants coach Steve Owen, a certified defensive genius, was asked how he planned to stop Nagurski, he said: "With a shotgun, as he’s leaving the dressing room."
So far we have been on the luckier side of the injury bug.
If you look around the NFL so far this pre-season, we are one of the few teams that is actually coming into the season relatively healthy in terms of play makers not being hurt.
How many lumps you want Doc?
I agree, Dizon was a backup / situational player
A lot of teams have already lost starters for the season.

Leigh Bodden
Well that’s one less corner we have to worry about on Thanksgiving. Seriously though hope he recovers soon and comes back next year at full strength.

McCourty looks pretty good for them, a lot like Haden, misses some plays but comes up with others.
