Per Mlive - Delmas @ Practice

This is huge.. obviously. Getting Louis Delmas back in the secondary is essential. Especially after talk about the whole defensive death star surgery option...

Star-divide

In other news, Heller is also now practicing... Ko Simpson is not.

In what is quickly becoming my favorite moving hat/cup game... Who ya got as the safety opposing Delmas? Think Phillips stays with Delmas back? I figure at this point why not? You cut Marquand (sp?) Manuel for him why not let him play next to a potential Pro-Bowler and see how he holds his own... CC? Maybe... I dunno, it seems like they want the safeties to compliment each other, and I don't know how well CC compliments Louis..

good news

Though I’m not surprised. I met delmas at the uncaged practice and he told me he was fine. This was the convo…
ME “Hey Louis, really excited to meet you”
LD “thanks for comin out”
Then I apologized for having him sign my worn lions hat but that I wore it near every day. He said as long as its a lions

Man I miss living in Detroit.

But its cool that you got Delmas to sign your hat. And it is very cool that he is back in practise.

oops. cont.

Hat. Then I asked him
So are you good to go this year or is it true you’ll miss time with an injury (didn’t want to directly address the groin)
He said with a smile, “I’ll be there”.
And that was that so I thing this is just a case of pft hearing bits and peices and then putting them together to try and create a story.
Sidenote, isaiah E. (The new lb, can’t spell his last name) was really cool and nice to my 3 yr old daughter who was scared to death. Kevin smith was dissapointing, to me at least, because of his lack of enthusiasm but he dodes have a lot on his plate so I’ll give him some slack.

It is generally a good idea

to not address a person’s groin directly.

Unless you plan to get busy very soon.

the memories,man

My grandfather took me to my first game when I was 5. I got a Billy Sims autograph on my program. I frame that program. One of the best days in my life. And I can always re-live that day because of the autographed program.

Autographs are collectible

If it’s not your thing, then that’s cool…but to some people they are worth a LOT of money.

Oh you didn't know?? You're ass better CALLLLLLLL SOMEBODY!!!!!

Its just fun to have them. I got Cliff,Williams and Delmas yesterday. I have Bobby Allison, Torrie Wilson, Darren McCarty, Dan Lefevour and more I never plan on Ebaying them they are mine for good. I just love collecting them and gettin to meet these people is a great part of it.

Delmas was on the sideline yesterday

Ran no drills. Glad to hear he is doing something today. We really need him back there. He’s a great kid plays every down with heart and that is something you cannot coach. I think when all is said and done Phillips starting at saftey seems most likley.
