Lions Re-Sign Robert Callaway, Waive Injured Joe Cohen
Defensive tackle Joe Cohen was waived today. He hurt his knee over the weekend, and the injury is apparently serious enough that he is headed to injured reserve. The Lions have to let him pass through waivers first, but assuming no team claims him, he will likely be put on IR.
With a roster spot opening up, the Lions decided to re-sign Robert Callaway, who was just released on Saturday. Since Cohen's injury created a need for extra depth at defensive tackle, bringing Callaway back made the most sense.

not a good feeling for Callaway… he is on the B in Bubble on making the roster injury or not
GO LIONS in 2010! the transformation starts now.. they have much to do.
Callaway is a big dude
Just very raw. And played against inferior competition. Maybe some time on the PS will help.
if the shoe fits...get another one just like it - George Carlin
In would suck being on that bubble of a roster
Always feeling like your not secure at the team your in.
RIP Robyn Bailey 1961 - 2010. I love you mum.
No no, i dont think anyone could be the new cason
since cason was on and off our team for what 5 years or so. Callaway just gets a second chance, and hopefully he proves something. He wont make the roster but maybe the PS
