What I Would Do For...

...a win against the Eagles at home on Sunday.

  1. Get punched in the face really hard
  2. Run away from the bulls in Spain
  3. Be tazed
  4. Crawl through an extended amount of broken glass
  5. Train dodge

What would YOU do for a win on Sunday?   List it out below.  A win against the Eagles would be such a huge confidence builder.

(More after jump)

Star-divide

Apparently, the Lions could still possibly face Kevin Kolb on Sunday.  I read an article that had been posted to Twitter (can't find it now, or I would post it) saying that he might be back.  I am not sure who I'd rather face, to be honest.  Vick is a little past his prime and can't throw the best, but is still explosive when he leaves the pocket.  Kolb is more of a traditional QB but hasn't proven anything yet and would probably be a little bit off his game if he played.  The Eagles have great wideouts and a good running back in LeSean McCoy.  Also, their defense is stout.  I'm a bit nervous, but I know the Lions can win if they play their best football.

Who would you rather face?

This is a very interesting question

I’m not really sure. On the one hand, Kolb is more likely to torch the secondary. But then again, Vick is just as likely to run wild.

Kolb

I don’t even think this should be a debate. I watched the GB game and Kolb looked TERRIBLE! Vick was awesome plus do you guys remember Jay Cutler rushing against us? Think what Vick will do to us!

Kolb will hold on the football giving more time for our rush to get to him. Vick will run and probably keep the our offense off the field.

From what I seen on Total Access

The eagles are looking at week 3 for kolbs return. Vick is taking 1st team snaps and the team said the plan was for Mike to start sunday.

i picked kolb for this reason:

while i am scared about vick’s mobility, lets be real about the situation. any quarterback that plays against us on the eagles is going to put up some numbers. if vick puts those numbers up, i’m going to have to listen to ESPN and every other sports writer on monday talk about how michael vick is back and watch highlights of him killing our defense because he’s such a high profile athlete.
it’s going to be a tough game, but if our defense plays like they did on sunday and finds a way to limit mccoy/jackson’s big gains, we have a good chance.
i’m still pulling for a lions victoryyyyyyy. goooooo liiiiooooonnnnnsssss.

I would let a mack truck run over my right foot

…or any of the following:

-Take a direct hit from Suh without pads on
-Have a snowball fight with former pitching great Randy Johnson
-Run across the track during a NASCAR race
-Play a trick on the Jack Links bigfoot

And I'm much less scared to play Kolb

I fully support you

I will definitely help you by:
1. Punching you in the face really hard.
2. Throwing you in front of the bulls in Spain.
3. Tazing you over and over and over.
4. Providing the broken glass.
5. Shoving you in front of the train.

Or I might be nice to you!

I chose Kolb

Please let Kolb Play, he cant run away from the pressure of our defensive line as well as Vick. He is unproven. And I dont mind getting torched, Cutler threw for like 376yrds I believe and we lost by 5 points. Getting torched isnt as dangerous and the time Vick can gain with his feet.

I dont see how you could'nt vote Kolb

If you saw that game. All I can say is that I feel real bad for Z.Follet.

The guy had a few good games

They traded away the franchise QB to play him. He better get good quick or there will be alot of #7 jerseys in town.

Vick

scares the hell out of me. i have visions of that big dork Cutler scrambling for first downs on plays that seemed to be in slow motion. imagine the damage Vick can do if we don’t contain him. we need Levy back. he’s very fast on the field.

by x$pcents IV on Sep 16, 2010 2:45 PM EDT reply actions

I'd rather take on Vick

Vick is dangerous, but prone to mistakes. Kolb I’m unsure of, he may also struggle since he has so little experience, but I know what Vick can do, and so do the Lions coaching staff.
