We're two games into the season, and performing better (yes, better) than expectations.  I know the Lions have had some classic facepalm moments that hearken back to the days of yore, but there is something different in the air.

A game-winning drive?  A 15-point run in the 4th quarter?

Remember how our offense was awful against the Bears?  I'm convinced it was the play-calling (see most of 2nd half in Eagles game).  The Lions offense ruined Philly in the first quarter (not to mention the end of the 4th).

Our defense looked weaker against Philadelphia?  Try on 5 sacks, 8 tackles for loss, and 11 QB hits for a total of 9/13/18 through two games.  Vick was under pressure almost every play.  The only thing missing was a turnover or two.

We are primed, ready to go caveman all over Brett Farve.  The wave of kool-aid is rising and will crush his old-man bones into splinters next week.  Go Lions!
