The Expectations Game
No, this has nothing to do with wins and losses. I'm taking it to the individual level. There are players we all expect to play well- these I'll let go for now. There are unproven quantities- rookies, free agent pickups, etc, who we're still waiting to see how well they play. Then there are guys we think of as disappointments because they're not playing well. It's these I'll focus on here...
Last year before the season, I remember reading in a post or link about Deandre Levy being "underwhelming" in practice and preseason. As the season went on, however, he stepped up and became an asset rather than a liability. To my mind, there are a lot of guys like that this year- guys we think won't make the roster cuts and some guys some people don't want to see make the team. Some argue against Smith, Northcutt, D Williams, or others having a spot. You could also insert a few other names we're concerned about even though they presumably have made the roster. So, which player of these unimpressers do you think is most likely to step it up in the regular season and surprise us? Any one in particular?

None of the players you mentioned......
Lions fans deserve better than being the laughing stock of the NFL. Lets all hope they are heading in the right direction finally.
Cohen the barbarian
Cohen will do good for the amount of plays he gets which wont be many
I gotta wait for the cuts before I can predict who does what

I'm hoping for Amari Spievey to step up his game
He hasn’t played unimpressively but that’s who I wanna see make a good show of the regular season.
RIP Robyn Bailey 1961 - 2010. I love you mum.
He looked better last game. I think by the end of the year he is going to be really strong as a cover safety.
