practice squad

The waiver period is over. Open game for all players to go to teams. Our practice start is starting to fill up WR Tim Toone, LB Caleb Campbell, WR Mike Moore .. ( Toone, Jon Hefney are also getting offers from the CFL?) per cmccosky twitter) For $5200 a week, heck yeah, i would love to be on the practice squad!!!

Bly was my shocker yesterday.. but tom kowalski says they my pick up him in a few weeks so the contract is not guaranteed

Im sure they are looking at a safety as well.

I think this becasue why did Wendling make the team? I didnt even see him play much. Saw him make a few Special Teams plays. Guess thats why he made the team was ST.

We already knew abt the secondary

As per the Lions, this is the best of what is available to us … Lot of them didn’t play cuz it was pre season, and would have played if the game counted ..

Chicago came down to earth big time ..
Our D-line will take care of chicago’s O-line
1st Regular season game for Cutler in Martz’s complicated offense
Our Offense is clicking .. against their D

Anyone can go on and on…

Am I confident we will win ? .. No …Do I like our chances ? .. Absolutely ..

Then again maybe they have a deal with him to comeback…keeping a roster spot free for some trades.

I had a dream were the Lions let me sign a 1 day contract they let me practice with them running drills and catching passes from Matt…At the end of the day I was called into Mayhews office. I was told I had just been traded to seattle for a 5th round draft pick.

Yeah after week 1 the contracts are no longer guaranteed.

So you might see them resign a couple of the vets like Bly and Jansen.

correct me if i'm wrong but after week one, fa signings aren't required to have guaranteed

knowing what i’ve seen of mayhew this it totally possible and wouldn’t surprise me one bit…only question mark is if bly is miffed already & wouldn’t sign back
