NFL News: TJ Houshmandzadeh
As per ESPN Radio, The Herd, TJ Houshmandzadeh has signed with the Baltimore Raves.
This signing comes as a surprise, but no one can deny the instant improvement TJ will
surely have.
The Ravens WR corpes now boasting Derrick Mason, Anquan Boldin, and now TJ Houshmandzadeh,
should be an interesting mix, and should instantly put them in to the conversation for best
WR corpes in the league.
While this is good news for the ravens I am sure this is bad news for all fantasy owners with Mason on their bench, or Boldin in their starting line-up, well STOP CRYING its just fantasy football.

UPDATE: As the deal sweetens for the Ravens, it is reported that TJ signed for one year at the league vet minimum.

Raven actually have an offense!
could be a very dangerous team.

Looks like Ozzie is going for it all this year.
Very old, very slow group of WRs. Guess they will drop one of their younger WRs to fit him in. ie David Reed or Marcus Smith? Only other guy is Mark Clayton. That would be a surprise if they dropped him.
last year they talked mason out of retirement, might be a sign?
The Red Wings will come back stronger
RESTORE THE ROAR 2010 Detroit Lions
I guess so.
Honestly, if they win the SB this year, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Ray Lewis, Ed Reed, and Derrick Mason retire.
nice
now all the need is for flacco to not blow it in the playoffs
The Red Wings will come back stronger
RESTORE THE ROAR 2010 Detroit Lions
monday night football just got better
darrel revis signs so does t.j. hmm damn wish i didnt have to work DVR baby
All I know is one of the NFL's two golden-boy quarterbacks will walk away a loser.
And I will be happy because I’m tired of hearing how both are primed to take their team to the SB this year.
I’ll be happier once the Bengals silence the overconfident winner either the next week or Thanksgiving.
Could happen

He signed for the minimum
because jack-ass Carroll and the Sea-chickens are on the hook for the rest of his contract .
A nice fu to the old boss
What did tj ever do to warrant a drop? Trade the guy and get something for him.
Carrol is a joke

No one wanted his contract so they couldn't trade him
but yes. Carrol is a joke
You guys really think Housh will do great in Baltimore?
I’m not so sure he will be all that great,,,for one thing, old or not, Derrick Mason is a bonified stud. 36 years old and still getting 1000 yards receiving…I say his is one of the more consistent WRs out there. Boldin is Boldin…another picture of consistency…what you see is what you get. If they stay healthy, Baltimore has 2 1000 yard receivers right there. Add in Housh…does he get the same number of looks? Does he get HIS 1000 yards? I seriously doubt it, unless one of Mason or Boldin gets injured.
Oh you didn't know?? You're ass better CALLLLLLLL SOMEBODY!!!!!
With all those options
What happens to R.Rices numbers? Recieving that is.
+1
Housh never had too many 1000 yard seasons to begin with. I think he only has one or two, but he will be exactly what the Ravens need: a third, old, receiver to take attention away from the other two old receivers
The beginning of the end of the misery
Joe
Is becoming one hell of a QB..there offense may be a bigger threat than there defense for a change.
I had a dream were the Lions let me sign a 1 day contract they let me practice with them running drills and catching passes from Matt…At the end of the day I was called into Mayhews office. I was told I had just been traded to seattle for a 5th round draft pick.
their offense IS a bigger threat than their defense
Honeslty, they dont even have reed for the first six weeks….defense look pretty mediocre
The beginning of the end of the misery
Eh I have Bolden on my team and I am not concerned at all.
T.J. Houshyomama is no Larry Fitzgerald and though he may take some balls he is not going to take any more than Breston andFitzgerald did. Bolden will still do better in Baltimore than he did on the Cardinals IMO.

Wow
Great pick up by the Ravens. Looks like they’re going all in this year to finally winning it again. AFC should be very tough this season.
Never count the Ravens out, Ozzie Newsome is to general managers as Bill Belichick is to coaches

True
I just love any team that does things through defense and the Ravens have been the best at it for a very long time. That is very hard to do in a league like today’s NFL with players jumping around from place to place going after the money. Now that they have some receivers to go along with that stout offensive line and group of backs in Rice and McGahee and TE Todd Heap, they are almost a complete team. We haven’t had one of those in a while.
Ravens have a good shot at the title this year
This move just makes it stronger…
