LeGarrette Blount picked up
So much for the Blount signing, the Bucs just claimed him off waivers.

Very smart move by the Bucs and their front office. Blount should be a great complimentary back especially in the system that they have in place...too bad he won't be active most days unless the Bucs get hit with a massive of injuries at the position like a few years back.

Great
He’s not on are team thats all I care about.
I had a dream were the Lions let me sign a 1 day contract they let me practice with them running drills and catching passes from Matt…At the end of the day I was called into Mayhews office. I was told I had just been traded to seattle for a 5th round draft pick.

I think our coaches have him Red Flagged, we had plenty of exosure to him in the Senior Bowl and plenty of opportunities to have him if we wanted him
Very similar to the Pacman thing

I think your right Evil ...
I liked him before the draft as a change of pace guy. But with all the chances we have had to get him, I trust my FO !! They say no then I say no, it is so nice to have that feeling for…maybe the first time really.
I could have sworn...
that Schwartz said he liked Blount at the Senior Bowl.
Oh you didn't know?? You're ass better CALLLLLLLL SOMEBODY!!!!!
I only heard one radio interview with Schwartz where they talked about him.
From my recollection Schwartz thought that the media way over blew the whole punching incident and he seemed to find the whole thing comical. He seemed to get amused by LaGarrett but not excited.

Waste of talent
He will be in jail before he makes it on a roster
I wonder why the bucs didn't grab Bell instead
He’s a better back and has a clean history.

I'd take Blount over Felton any day

I'll take Tony Richardson over both of them
don’t understand why we haven’t taken a look at this guy, he’s basically made the careers of like 5 perennial Pro Bowl backs.
Too old
My guess is that Tony Richardson just doesn’t fit our youth movement, although truth being told I don’t know how far apart in age he is from Felton, I just know I’ve heard Tony’s name for a long time.

Richardson is going to resign with the Jets before week 1
They just wanted to pay him less and not guarantee his money. Gotta make room for Revis bank bags LoL!

Turns out Tony is 38
I was all over bringing him in until I found out he was older than me. He still has it, though.
When he was with the Chiefs and blocking for Priest Holmes- #1 rushing offense.
He blocked for Adrian Peterson in ADs rookie year- #1 rushing offense and arguably the greatest season by a rookie RB ever.
With the Jets clearing the way for Thomas Jones just last year-#1 rushing offense
Thats either a string of coincidences or a testament to how good he is
If he was the missing piece for a championship run, it would be a no-brainer.

Not only that
He blocked for Larry Johnson in 2005 when he ran for 1750 yards. He even blocked for Marcus Allen at the beginning of his career.
He’s old, but he’s still got it. And he’d be to our RB’s what VandenBosch is to our D-line: a consummate professional who is more then willing to mentor the young guy’s and show them how to get it done in this league.
I'm still pissed at the Jets for taking John Connor
But that is something we could get in next years draft any beast mode fullbacks coming out?
Ndamukong Suh - Bringing 50's football back to Motown!
Have no idea
But it would be nice to find one. You been watching the ol’ “Hard Knocks”? Conner looks like an absolute monster out there man, that’s exactly the type of intimidating Fullback we need.
I've seen some clips, but don't have HBO so kinda SoL there.
