Hey guys...a moment of boredom hit me, and so I decided I would share my week 1 picks with you, see what everyone thinks, and discuss. What I did was pick who I thought would win each game this week. All 32 teams are playing, so there are 16 games. I ranked them as if I were in a pool, from 16 down to 1. 16 would be the game I am most sure about, and thus would be a game that I would bet the most points on, and 1 would be the game that I would bet the least points on. I would never bet against the Lions, so they are automatically going to be my 1 pick (that way win or lose I would not be betting big, just in case). So without further ado...

16) SD over KC (line is -4.5)

15) NYG over CAR (line is -6.5)

14) TEN over OAK (line is -6.5)

13) N.O. over MIN (line is -5.5)

12) N.E. over CIN (line is -4.5)

11) ARI over STL (line is -4.0)

10) DAL over WAS (line is -3.5)

9) SF over SEA (line is -3.0)

8) MIA over BUF (line is -3.0)

7) G.B. over PHI (line is -3.0)

6) IND over HOU (line is -2.0)

5) JAC over DEN (line is -2.5)

4) ATL over PIT (line is -2.5)

3) CLE over T.B. (line is +3.0...TB is the favorite)

2) BAL over NYJ (line is +2.5...NYJ are the favorite)

1) DET over CHI (line is +6.5...CHI is the favorite)

It was funny to me, because I made my picks and then I went ahead and checked the Vegas odds...I picked the favorite in all but 3 games. What do you guys think?

I actually agree with all those

The Cle vs TB game is a toilet bowl game for sure. Hopefully Gerald Mccoy makes it intresting.

I had a dream were the Lions let me sign a 1 day contract they let me practice with them running drills and catching passes from Matt…At the end of the day I was called into Mayhews office. I was told I had just been traded to seattle for a 5th round draft pick.

IMO, Laying way too much chalk to be even close to splitting your picks

Oakland will cover and probably win outright.

Look for home underdogs to at least cover in 65% of their games and win outright in half of those. I haven’t had a chance to look at the games closely, and don’t bet on them, but handicapping games without money invested is still fun.

I may pull a few thoughts together and hit you back with any thoughts on your picks.
