2011 Season and moving forward, read & reply

Quarterback Matthew Stafford, drafted 1st Overall by the Detroit Lions in 2009. Played in 10 games his first year, and

played in 3 games his second (Played through only 1 full game and left early and late in the other 2). The buzz around is that Stafford is injury-prone which I believe not to be true. That because in college he hadn't seemed to be, in the pro's Stafford has played in 13 out of 32 games for the Lions. In those games which he has played he has showed glimpse of promise and future for our Lions. The question going into a 2011 season (if there is one) can he lead Detroit for 16 full games? I believe and hope that the injury bug was more of a fluke and he'll be fine. But, if Stafford cannot stay healthy and is out a extended period of time once again; we may and very well look towards picking a QB in the 2012 NFL Draft. Remember, Andrew Luck has stayed for his senior year at Stanford and would be a terrific option come pick time. That is if we aren't out of the top ten like this year. I have much faith in our players and system that if we do lose Stafford to injuries we could still make the playoffs with Shaun Hill. Things will become very interesting but I do have confidence that whatever happens we are heading in the right direction.
