Bears (-10) vs Seahawks -- over/under 41

Ok, I hinted at this already in another thread earlier this week but it deserves to be said again. The Bears are double digit favorites. That is a huge number in any NFL game let alone in the playoffs. This is a difficult game to pick. Seattle was 2-6 on the road this year. They are much better at home. Sadly for them, they have to travel this weekend. Chicago on the other hand, has been playing like they have a horse shoe up their bums all year long. The luck involved in their season has been astounding.

I am going to take Seattle and the points and call the over. Chicago's luck has to run out eventually and Carroll, despite what I think of him, is a great coach. Comparing him to Lovie is a mismatch. I am not ready to say Seattle wins this game without the points but I think it is going to be closer than 10.

Interesting bit of information for you. 7 teams have been 9 or more points in the playoffs since 2004. Only one team covered (by a half a point!) the other 6 failed to cover and three of them lost outright.
