Every draft site on the internet has the Lions either drafting a linebacker, cornerback, or offensive tackle first, except one that has a defensive end,which seems absolutely almost as stupid as drafting 4 wide receivers in 5 years. 

Personally, I still think Mayhew is going for the best player available but it gets a little tricker. The Lions aren't absolutely talent-less like they were in 2008 and 2009. They actually have some pretty good young players at key positions. So Mayhew will definitely have to draft a position of need in addition to getting the b.p.a. The biggest need right now is linebacker or cornerback, in no particular order. So Mayhew will probably draft the best player between those two positions depending on what's left at #13.

I think he should draft the b.p.a between corner or linebacker, but you never know what could happen during the draft. What do my fellow Lions fans think?
