Unfortunately my Lions are out of it again! No need for tears though we're almost there. This post is about the teams who are there though. I don't want to go as far as my super bowl pick yet I'll save that 4 the championship games just to remain active on this wonderful avenue to talk football. Even though you guys usually never agree with me we all share a common goal and that's to create a winner in Detroit. So where fighting the same fight.
But off my rant who are you taking in this weekends games we've got the Saints at Seahawks! There's absolutely no way I see the Seattle beating the Saints. I'm sorry they're just not tooled offensively enough to keep up with the saints. So I'm picking the Saints in a blow out. Even if Colston isn't a go there's just to many weapons on New Orleans. Plus the pressure there gonna put on Whitehurst this might get ugly quick!
Next is Ravens at Chiefs this one will be closer but I honestly think the Ravens can take away Dwayne Bowe and upfront they can stop the Chiefs run. So I'm taking the Baltimore Ravens in a low scoring game. Joe Flacco still hasn't fully developed and he alone may keep the Chiefs in it. But I think in a defensive battle the Ravens come out on top!
Now for 2 of the big games first being the Jets at Indianapolis. This game will be a chess match. But I think because of the addition of Cromartie and the loss of Austin Collie the Jets can pull this one out in Lucus Oil Stadium in a close on. Revis island is going to take away Reggie Wayne. But if the Jets continue to try to blitz Payton Manning they can leave losers. But I think the Colts are just to 1 dimensional to win. Colts have a smaller defense and the Jets I'm sure are going to run that ball down there throats. I almost forgot baring Mark Sanchez having one of his 4 turn over games the Jets win. Lol
Now for the big one Green Bay at Philadelphia. Before the Vikings game I was saying to myself this maybe Michael Vicks year but after the Vikings basically beat up on him I'm not sure. Michael Vick has improved as a QB but tends to take matters in his own hands when they get behind. I think the Packers DB's are going to beat up on the smaller Eagle receivers and send pressure from Vicks left side and beat up on him again. I'm really torn in this game because the Packers don't have a running game and the quicker Eagle LB's can watch the passing lanes. So this will become more so a defensive battle and I think the Packers have a better defense and the players to beat the Eagles offense so I'm taking the Packers in a low scoring game something like 17-14. Okay ya'll tell me what you think! GO LIONS!!!!!
