  • The attendance record for a Lions game at Ford Field was broken on Monday. The attendance was 67,861, which came up just a bit short of the overall Ford Field football attendance record that Super Bowl XL set (68,206).
  • On Sunday, the Lions will try to start 6-0 for the first time since 1956 when they take on the 49ers. Interestingly enough, when the Lions started 6-0 in '56 their sixth win came against the 49ers.
  • The Lions have scored the fourth-most points this season and have allowed the fourth-fewest points. They lead the NFL in point differential, coming in ahead of the 49ers, which are in second place.
  • During Cris Carter's interview with Calvin Johnson that aired on Monday night, Carter said Johnson is "definitely one of the best wide receivers in the National Football League."
  • Johnson's nine touchdown receptions are the most by a player in his team's first five games since the merger, according to ESPN Stats & Info.
  • Tony Scheffler suffered a concussion during Monday's game.
  • Reminder: "Restore the Roar" T-shirts are available on GameDay Depot, which has partnered with Pride of Detroit.
