It took much longer than I expected, but former Detroit Lions punter Nick Harris has landed with a new team. From Adam Schefter:
Harris was let go during the final round of roster cuts after undrafted rookie free agent Ryan Donahue came in and won the punting job with the Lions. Donahue has performed quite well so far this season, so the move to change starting punters appears to be a good one for the Lions.
I'm glad to see Harris landed somewhere. While Donahue outperformed him during the preseason, Harris is a good punter, and he is deserving of being a starter somewhere.
