Meanest player in the NFL
So SI asked a bunch of NFL players "who is the meanest" and they got some results. Not surprisingly, James Harrison is the runaway winner with Ray Lewis backing him up. Our own Suh comes in a distant third. In the facebook vote (assumedly open to the public) Suh wins with 40%.
Here is the surprise. Jason Hanson is on the list. He got a single vote. Yes. Someone in the NFL thinks Jason Hanson is the meanest guy in the league. I know for sure who might think that, but I have an idea...

Hell yeah Hanson!!!
Kickin’ FG and ass!
Happier than a pig in shit that I was wrong about Matthew Stafford since 2009!
Go Lions, Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons!
If I'm a punt returner.
I’d rather take a knee than try and break one of Hanson’s punishing tackles.

Hey, I stopped in to see how the game was.....but some limp dick couldn't work the next day.....lol
Hope you had a great time, I was going to warn you about that construction at Linwood on I-75 but forgot. That was an 8 mile back up on Friday.
lol... Hell no!.. I crashed in Lansing (not literally..)
I got the traffic scoop from a friend that lives in Livonia. We took 96 all the way in and used the Grand River exit… set up our tailgate by cass st.
Had a late breakfast at Golden Harvest… THE BEST breakfast place in the entire state of Michigan. If anyone is in Lansing… I highly recommend it. I worked with the owner (Zane) at the City Club of Lansing in the late 90’s… this guy is the best unknown chef in the state… and now he opened a gourmet (his style) breakfast/lunch joint in old town Lansing… Kick’s absolute ass.
Look it up on Urban Spoon.

It wasn't Rayner...
…It was Hester!
He’s pissed that not only did Hanson not give him a single returnable kickoff, but that he got knocked out of bounds by a…. 41 YEAR OLD KICKER!!!!!!
I pity the fool!

Thats funny as hell

PCP 4 LIFE
3 Lions ranked in this
Ndamukong Suh ranked 3rd, Jerome Harrison ranked 12th, and Jason Hanson got one vote. I think Jerome Harrison may have only received voted because people thought he was James Harrison though.
lol
Although, if I remember correctly, Suh only had 5% of the vote. Compared to 40 % of the fan vote…
We have our man. It's Stafford. It's Suh. It's Calvin. It's Delmas. What we need is Man Number Two to stand up.

I love it!
only our team could have our kicker get a ‘meanest player’ vote. And Jason Hanson deserves any and all accolades this year, he has an amazing record, 300 games with the same team and still kicking great. I’m going to show my age here and say I remember him when we got him as a rookie and saying “I hope he’s as good and dependable as Eddie Murray” Wow has he shown me.
Wish they would let SF vote for the meanest player after our game Sunday..which DLman do you think they would choose?

Hope so
would love to see him tear up the offensive line of SF, especially since their saying Our Dline won’t give any problem to the Oline of niners.
Although I would like to see all of our rotating guys get a sack then 2 for Nick, and have them shut down the niners running game.

This line is nasty and deep!
I’m sorry, I can’t let 9er fans get away with it. I hope they underestimate the Lines DL, but I fear it is only the fans thinking this way. Even Young, Jackson, Fairley, and Hill is a better D line then half the NFL.
I’m sorry, but when WYoung, LoJack, Nasty Nick (or should it be Nick Nasty?), and SLH met Suh, KVB, CWill, and Avril a blackhole was formed. Reality was altered! CERN called, they wanted to build a new Hadron Collider in the middle Detroit, but found one was already there.
C’mon man! So, their O line will stop the Lions D line for 1 more second longer then the rest… Please, maybe on 1 or 2 plays, but not for 4 quarters.
Proof – Here is one simple experiment that anyone can do at home. Take a Hammer, and bang it on your body, repeat for about 50-80 times. Do you still think that D line can be stopped? (Seriously, DO NOT hit yourself with a hammer, it will hurt you! In case any 9er fans are reading this.)
(OK, maybe I shouldn’t be posting at 6 AM with a hang over).

Game on!
