Meriweather - Was he fined?
Brandon Meriweather had two big bullshit hits on Monday night. I have been watching to see if any fines were handed down by the NFL but haven't seen anything yet. He launched himself helmet first at Stefan Logan early in the game. Then he came in with a cheap shot on Burleson, helmet first again, after the interception in the first half, the play was dead and Burleson was just standing there.
If Suh would have done either of these it would have been a $25,000.00 or $50,000.00 fine. I want to make sure this isn't overlooked by the NFL!

Haven't heard anything
Great point! I’ve also been keeping an eye out for this. The main hit that concerned me was the Burleson hit…. he launches himself helmet first… after the play was over. I thought right away that there SHOULD be a fine coming. I just hope the league can actually get this one right.
Playing for Chicago is punishment enough.
Let’s not be cruel.

Though i agree with your statement
Ask cutler he knows what kind of punishment comes with playing for the bears…110 sacks in his 3 seasons there lol.
I think he's just an idiot
and literally does not understand that he can’t lead with his helmet. How else do you explain that tackling technique? He essentially just runs around with his head down

He thinks he's an airplane.
New England should have traded him to the Jets, he’d fit right in.
Vroooooom.

Don't know about a fine, but he is getting benched. (read the comments, the stuff about the "Safety Dance" is incredible)

I am surprised they have not benched Martz yet.

Happier than a pig in shit that I was wrong about Matthew Stafford since 2009!
Go Lions, Tigers, Red Wings and Pistons!
He's been fined.
Dirty ass punk is Merriweather. Talks a lot of shit, but can’t produce during the season. Complete toolbag who doesn’t belong in the NFL.
