I have never been so happy after a loss

I am 47 years old and I can remember moments in history like Eddie Murray missing a huge 43 yard field goal.  Getting excited when Barry had a big run, being sad when Billy Sims had a career ending ACL injury, and real sadness during the MM era.    Now we have a real team and today when the game was over I was not mad.  I was not judging the improvement that is necessary.  Instead I realized today that I am willing to drink the koolaid.  We are a good football team that will fix its mistakes.  We are a team that is 9-1 in its last 10 games.  Few teams can say that.  This team can contend and certainly play 60 competitive minutes with any team in the NFL. So today it is a good day to be a Lions fan even with a loss.  Go Lions!
