Lions Notes: Video Of ESPN's Calvin Johnson Feature
- As pointed out by Adam Schefter, Jim Harbaugh was a quarterback for the Ravens at the same time (1998) that Jim Schwartz was a defensive assistant.
- As noted by Dave Birkett, the Lions play at the 49ers next year.
- The Lions posted a picture of the game ball that Jim Schwartz awarded to fans last Monday night.
- Although the 49ers did not have as many false starts as the Bears, they did get called for that penalty five times. The crowd noise clearly was affecting the 49ers on Sunday.
- Here's an amazing stat: Each of the last two Lions home games had an attendance number greater than 62,000. Before the Monday night game, you had to go all the way back to the end of the 2007 season when the Cowboys came to Ford Field for the last time a Lions home game broke the 62,000 fans mark.
- Calvin Johnson recorded his 300th career catch on Sunday.
- Speaking of Johnson, this video was featured on ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown:
UPDATE: For some reason the person who uploaded the video set it to private.
- Lions offensive guard Rob Sims' house has a doorbell that roars like a lion when you press it. That is awesome.
- Had the Lions won on Sunday, it would have been the first time since 1934 that two divisional teams started 6-0 (the Packers did win on Sunday).
- Raiders quarterback Jason Campbell is reportedly out for the season with a broken collarbone. The Lions play the Raiders on Dec. 18.
- Fittingly, The Onion wrote an article last Friday about a handshake coming in at an unusually high angle and velocity. Even though it wasn't related to the Jim Schwartz/Jim Harbaugh thing, it shows just how ridiculous the incident was.
- Former Titans linebacker Keith Bulluck is on Schwartz's side. That's no surprise considering Bulluck played in Tennessee when Schwartz was the defensive coordinator.
- Bears safety Chris Harris is reportedly requesting to be traded. He was benched after the Monday night game against the Lions last week.

It isn't that Big WRs can't run fast and good routes
It is that they Should NOT be able to run and catch like he does. It is just unfair.

Game on!
wtf
Is that " body by white castle "
"I like to win all the time, so all the time I play with myself."
So, do we face Pryor or Boller?
Either way, it makes me happy that we have Hill and Stanton as backups.
NO HOMO!!!!!!!

If any player were to be moved by the Oakland Raiders to make the trade for Shaun Hill, Michael Bush makes the most sense with Best injury. reported 7 hrs ago.
