Around SBN: Now They've Screwed Spurs, UEFA Willing To Review Rule

It's obviously not a given that he will play, but reports of him being out for the year because of his concussion are just silly.

I’m guessing a heavy dose of Momo and Harrison for Atlanta

No way he's out for the year

but I do worry about the dude. I just hope his brain is not totally fucked up by the end of his football career.

A smaller Emmitt Smith.

Book it.

Aaron Brown

If the Lions knew that Best was in danger of missing a few weeks, then they should sign the poor man’s Jahvid Best. He already knows (most of) the playbook and can step in right away. He is good out of the backfield and can spread the defense out. He doesn’t cost anything besides a roster spot and comes at the cheapest rate possible. They don’t have to give anything away for a gamble in the trade market. In my opinion, this would be the best move to make.

For sure

I was a big Brown supporter this preseason, and if the dude has remained in good shape since getting cut, I’d be all about bringing him back on board. The question would be who gets cut, and I would guess the answer would be Harrison, since he’s seen little to no playing time this year.

I concur with brown

If anyone is expecting some crazy blockbuster trade RB you can forget it.This organization has obviously proved thats not the way we roll. I’m expecting a little more play from momo and possibly more from keiland,I feel we’ve already chalked up harrison as a loss at this point.

No Trade

I agree with you here that a blockbuster trade in unlikely. Look at the Raiders V Bengals trade that just occurred. The Raiders got fleeced because Jason Campbell’s injury launched Palmer’s market value higher than he is really worth on the open market. The Lions will not fall into this trap and makes a trade deadline blockbuster not likely.

Yeah we dont need to, we have plenty of options and i think our FO already knows that anyone who dareth run behind our O-line will have little to no success. So why waste players and draft picks for a RB that will go nowhere.

I don't take anything Jim says about injuries seriously one way or the other

I think there is no way Jahvid is playing.

And any game in the future he plays in Jim needs to have a plan in place for how to proceed without him because he isn’t going to last.

Peyton Hills

If love to see Hillis added to the Lions backfield if in fact he’s on the trading block as reported. Best, Leshoure, and Hillis would be an awesome three-headed monster.

Lions are working a trade for Ronnie Brown with Philly, sending them Jerome Harrison and a 7th round pick

I doubt they hold him out "just because."

If he gets the green light, he’ll play.
