- Gunther Cunningham was none too pleased when he heard about what 49ers offensive lineman Anthony Davis said on Twitter following last Sunday's game.
"Like their (right) tackle, I don't even know his name, he's talking about blocking everybody," Cunningham said. "Well, I looked at the tape. I might make a highlight tape and put it on Twitter so everyone can see what he did. It just really -- the more I talk about this, the madder I get because, I just want to play them again."
Cunningham on Twitter? If only ... - Jerome Harrison had surgery on Friday, according to the Free Press.
- The reason doctors discovered Harrison's brain tumor is because he told them he was having headaches. Doctors decided to do an MRI and found the tumor.

- There have been reports that Jahvid Best could miss the rest of the season because of his latest concussion, but the Lions and Best's agent don't think that will be the case. They expect Best to return sometime soon.
- The Falcons prepared for the Ford Field crowd by cranking up their sound system to 124 decibels during practice this week. Apparently the average NFL crowd comes in at about 108 decibels, so teams are definitely taking notice of how loud Lions fans have been in recent weeks.
