High School Senior Kicks 64 Yard Field Goal

I saw a clip of Jason Hanson's replacement tonight, I'm sure he has 2 to 3 more years in him, and when he is done, well we can get this kid:

How about those Lions!!! I got yelled at Sunday afternoon for, of all things, yelling at the TV. "Every time I start to go to sleep someone in here is yelling at the TV". Sorry honey, I was getting a little irritated at the soft coverage in the first half, and the lack of a push from the D-Line.

Man when these guys are clicking I don't think anybody can stop them. Here's hoping for a fast start and a beat down of the Bears!

Can he hit 10/10 from that distance?

Cuz anybody who replaces Hanson can’t just have a big leg, they’ve gotta have the accuracy and consistency.

I’d rather have a guy who’s gonna hit 9/10 from 45yds, then a guy who can kick a 55yarder but misses the easy ones.

Funny thing is that it wasn't even the state record.

Somebody else had kicked a 68 yarder before.

No, that IS a state record (tie), but not National

National Record is 68 yards…Nevada’s is 64.

Either way though, it’ll be at least another 4-5 years before this kid gets to the pros…however whether he’s any good really…long ways away. This seems to happen every year, some HS player either ties or breaks the NFL record and people get hyped only to forget him by next week lol.
