Lions To Put Standing Room Only Tickets For Monday Night Game On Sale Today

Stay connected for news and updates

The Detroit Lions' Monday night showdown against the Chicago Bears has been sold out since August. When tickets for individual games went on sale to the public, every ticket for the Bears game was gone in an hour.

Demand for the Monday night game has been as high as I can ever remember for a regular season Lions game. Third-party ticket sites have been overloaded with requests for tickets, and the really amazing thing is despite a number of tickets being on the market, none are currently below $176 or so.

Because demand is so high, the Lions have decided to make 2,000 standing room only tickets available starting at 1 p.m. today. The tickets will cost $50 each and customers can only buy a maximum of four tickets at a time. For details on how to buy the tickets, check out the Lions' official website.

If you want an actual seat for the Monday night game, check out Pride of Detroit's tickets page, which pulls in the seats currently on the market from a number of different websites.
