When the Detroit Lions signed safety Vincent Fuller earlier this week, they released offensive guard Jacques McClendon to make room on the roster for him. McClendon has since been brought back as a member of the practice squad.

Spencer was signed to the practice squad on Sept. 28 after the Lions worked him out. Tim Toone was let go to make room for him.
