Leonard Davis was a 1st round pick by the Arizona Cards out of Texas in 2001. His first three years in the NFL he played Gaurd in Arizona. The eventually moved him to tackle for 15 games. In 2007 Arizona decided not to retain the services of Leonard Davis. He signed with the Cowboys as a free agent in March of 2007. The Cowboys put Davis back at his original position at Gaurd immediatley. He made the Pro Bowl his first year in Dallas, The first of his career. He made All Pro second team along with Flozell Adams. Davis is the 5th most penalized player in the nfl with 42 sense 2005. Former teamate Alex Barron is number 1 on the list.

According to Forbes, Davis was the highest paid NFL player and 19th overall athlete in the 12 month period ending June 2007, earning $25.4 million

Due to a decline in play and a monster salary cap number Davis was released by the Cowboys on July 28 of 2011.
