Two Things
I think we all know that Stafford's injury played a huge part in his performance today. Doubling his interception numbers for the year in one game is a huge testament to this fact. Cutler was throwing in that wind too, so it's not really an excuse. Everyone is going to have a bad game, and Stafford has played well overall this year. The Bears are hot right now, so I am feeling better than Eagles fans are feeling right now, for instance.
Secondly, I have one question.....why in the hell do we continue to punt to Hester? Seriously. It befuddles me any time he catches the ball.

Another couple things.
Cutler didnt throw alot at all, in fact I think he barely made it over 100 yards throwing for the day. So I think the wind was a factor, when stafford was throwing that ball to scheff that got intercepted i clearly watched the ball sail about 2 feet into the defenders hands in a very odd way. It looked like the wind caught it and hooked it, regardless I also think the injury didnt help.Yesterday marks the first time in over a year my phone took a trip at a very high speed into a wall, hopefully it doesnt make that trip anymore this season.
Stafford finally looked like what he is....
a very young qb. When I saw that the forecast called for 25-35mph hour wind I told my dad there’s no way in hell we are winning this game. We just don’t have the type of running game needed to win these types of games. As much as I hate to admit it we are a dome team. Not having Best hurt but I don’t really think it would have made that much of a difference. I don’t mean to sound completely negative or anything. These are just my personal opinions. The Lions are a fair weather team. They are a team who is still trying to figure out how to compete 16 weeks out of the year. They are not a superbowl contender. I do think we are in the process of becoming one of the best teams in the NFL, we just have not made it there yet. No big deal. I think any Lion fan who was expecting this team to win a championship was setting his/herself up to be dissapointed. Right now the Lions are just above a middle of the pack team. Not that we could forget or anything but this team is 3 years removed of the only winless season in NFL history. 1 year removed from a decade of futility (to put it nicely.) We will get there guys.
Another thing. Everyone on this site is entitled to their opinion and I respect that. Here’s mine. Shut the hell up with this lets bench Stafford because he has a bad quarter, half, or game. Some of you people trip me the f*** out. Not in 55 years have the Lions had a qb play at the caliber Matthew Stafford has so far this season. In terms of games played Stafford is just now really entering his second season. Until yesterday he throws for 19td’s 4int’s and 2,100 yards and all you see on gameday is posters calling for his head. Jump on the bandwagon or jump the fuck off.

Need a run game
Until we can resolve this problem the offense will shut down.
As for the Hester thing:
they knew he was coming back from an injury, and he was supposedly not at 100% going into the game, so I understand kicking it to him at first… but after his first big return, yes, we definitely should’ve started to kick away from the dude.
I don't care if dude was 2%....
don’t kick the ball to Hester. Where’s Nick Harris when you need him.
"That's my quarterback man"- T.O.
There's a reason he was on the street...
We signed Malone off the street on Thurday. One of the reason he was on the street is probably because he can’t directional kick…which he showed on sunday. That would be the reason why we kicked to Hester. I’m sure it wasnt in the game plan.
