Week 11 Power poll (its interesting week)

First off let me start off to say yes I am Detroit Lions slappy.  I follow the Lions quite a bit but in no way does it mean I rank them higher because of that.  All I do is figure out a system I like and run with it.  I have not changed the system since I started this poll.  Last week we had 4 teams with 2 losses.  Each of those teams loss this weekend.  5 of the 8 3 loss teams won so now we have a bunch of teams at the top.  So without further ado here is the power poll.

  1. Green Bay 9-0 .466 (1)
  2. San Francisco 8-1 .528 (2)
  3. Detroit 6-3 .569 (3)
  4. Chicago 6-3 .562 (8)
  5. (4) New England 6-3 .562 (9)
  6. Baltimore 6-3 .520 (4)
  7. Pittsburgh 7-3 .512 (12)
  8. New Orleans 7-3 .476 (13)
  9. Cincinnati 6-3 .473 (5)
  10. Houston 7-3 .463 (14)
  11. New York Giants 6-3 .444 (6)
  12. Buffalo 5-4 .542 (7)
  13. New York Jets 5-4 .528 (10)
  14. Oakland 5-4 .521 (16)
  15. Dallas 5-4 .514 (17)
  16. Atlanta 5-4 .486 (11)
  17. Tennessee 5-4 .453 (19)
  18. Denver 4-5 .569 (21)
  19. Tampa Bay 4-5 .566 (15)
  20. San Diego 4-5 .500 (18)
  21. Kansas City 4-5 .370 (20)
  22. Seattle 3-6 .589 (26)
  23. Philadelphia 3-6 .514 (22)
  24. Jacksonville 3-6 .513 (25)
  25. Cleveland 3-6 .432 (24)
  26. Washington 3-6 .417 (23)
  27. Arizona 3-6 .384 (29)
  28. Minnesota 2-7 .556 (27)
  29. St. Louis 2-7 .521 (30)
  30. Carolina 2-7 .493 (28)
  31. Miami 2-7 .479 (31)
  32. Indianapolis 0-10 .494 (32)

Well that is the list of teams here is the conference listing.

  1. NFC North 23-13 .538
  2. AFC North 22-15 .485
  3. AFC East 18-18 .528
  4. NFC South 18-19 .505
  5. AFC West 17-19 .490
  6. NFC East 17-19 .472
  7. NFC West 16-20 .505
  8. AFC South 15-23 .481

Now some comments.  First is I was shocked when I went to organize the poll.  I had no way of knowing that the Lions even after a loss would end up being #3 in the NFL for another week.  One thing to understand though is that the Bears have been moving up each week it seems.  They are peaking at the right time IMHO.  I do not know what their schedule holds out to be but it should be interesting.
