Orlovsky, E. Sims Can't Catch a Break

Dan Orlovsky has had rough times in the NFL....
Adam Schefter did an interesting article on Dan Orlovsky and Ernie Sims, obviously two former Lions who were a part of the 0-16 season in 2008. Both of them, as some of you already realize, have found themselves with another team that is creeping ever so close to the 0-16 season as well.
I remember when the Lions were going through that season. I heard some analysts say that going 0-16 was harder than going 16-0 in this league. Although I disagree with that, I think I understand their driving point. The talent levels on the professional teams are good from top to bottom. Every team SHOULD be able to win games. Obviously, a losing mentality and an inability to pick yourself up when the season is lost can cause this to be a bit tougher than any of us can realize.
To live through two of those seasons has to be amazingly tough on the football psyche within both of these guys. I feel very bad for them. Talk about tough luck.

I always liked Orlovsky...
even with running out of the back of the endzone, I still thought the guy had some talent. Well, guess that’s why I’m not an NFL talent evaluator haha
LITTLE MAN IN BACKFIELD! LITTLE MAN IN BACKFIELD! GO STEFAN LOGAN!
He showed some promise in '08
He would make plays to keep us in the game and then he would have terrible blunders that would cost us the game. And then he got hurt lol
Wait, are you describing Orlovsky...
or Eli Manning early in his career? haha

Ernie had his problems but at one time he was one of my favorite players I admit
Probably why I overreatcted whe we traded him. I always hoped he would get his career on track after detroit. I don’t know that any player deserves to live through that twice. Hang tough guys but on the plus side..They can no longer say the lions the only team ever….you know
I was glad to see that Barry Sanders found gainful employment as a bus driver. Good sign for the economy. ~ @armchairlb

Too bad Matt Millen isn't the Colts' GM.
I think he’s earned such a dubious honor.
That goddamn Okra and beans got you Oprah in jeans. Seems to me a little lean cuisine, wouldn't hurt much- Agh don't touch! -Obie Trice
Fuck Jim Harbaugh.

I have a confession to make
My username is not to honor Rob Sims. I was an Ernie Sims fan and still have his jersey. Sad to see him go through this again.
The Colts just claimed another former Lions from the 2008 season
The Colts now have Jerome Felton on their team….3 former Lions from the 0-16 season…poor guys.
