The Lions will once again be without several contributors. Smith, Jackson, Fairley, Houston and Delmas are all too banged up to play, meaning other players at their positions (Maurice Morris, Willie Young, Sammie Hill, Aaron Berry and Chris Harris) will need to step it up.
The good news for Detroit is that the Vikings are also pretty banged up. Although Christian Ponder is set to play, Peterson is out, which is a big break for the Lions. Toby Gerhart is no slouch, but not having to face AP is a pretty nice break for the Lions to catch.
