So, as if Jay Cutler and Matt Forte going down with injuries wasn't bad enough...they've now had a player arrested on drug charges. These are not minor charges either. Here is what happened to Sam Hurd....

According to Jensen's reports, Hurd met with an undercover Homeland Security agent on Wednesday and attempted to set up a system by which he would purchase 5-10 kilograms of cocaine and 1,000 pounds of marijuana per week to distribute in Chicago. Here's the real kicker — according to the complaint, Hurd said that he was already distributing four kilos of cocaine per week in the greater Chicago area with a co-conspirator, but that this amount wasn't enough.

Seriously? Does this classify him as a "drug kingpin?"

I’d ask WCG what their opinions are on it but most of those ignoramuses cannot be approached reasonably.

I feel like Martz has a whole leg out the door. Maybe it’s best to look for another HC as well. Bears have to be the most desirable option compared to KC and MIA, TB will no doubt fire Morris as well.

Because that division of Government was created without a distinct mission. In fact, it’s mission over laps with so many other government divisions that it really makes no sense to have it.

I saw the other day, Homeland security had taken control of a Website because it was breaking copyright laws.

It seems any organization [government or business] will always try to expand whether that makes sense or not. Empire building at its worst.
