Lions Notes: Louis Delmas Ruled Out For Sunday's Game

Detroit Lions safety Louis Delmas did not make the trip to Oakland and has been downgraded to out on Sunday. He was originally considered questionable, but he will miss at least one more game because of his knee injury.
As Philip Zaroo noted on Friday, the Lions have come a long way in the last few years. They have gone from 0-16 in 2008 to currently being 8-5, a record good enough for their most wins in more than a decade -- with three games still to go. Well done to everybody involved in this turnaround.
Lomas Brown told quite the story about Bennie Blades on Dan Le Batard's show earlier this week.
The NFL is taking a serious look at introducing more technology into the game.
Calvin Johnson is concerned about winning, not how many targets he's getting.
Cliff Avril and Kyle Vanden Bosch are two of the better players in the NFL at causing fumbles on sacks.

Good team thing to say, but he should also realize that B leads to A. It’s not an accident we got off to a 5-0 start when he was getting two touchdowns per game.

Agreed. Nice sentiment, but I believe Megatron's playmaking ability is the difference in some games.

I think if you're(not you directly Sky) not looking at Scott Linehan suspect......

You need to start. Matthew is being smart with the football by not throwing into triple coverage. I believe the burden is on the OC to find a way to make this guy more available. When someone plays the Pats, there isn’t a soul in the building that doesn’t know Gronk is getting the ball, but the OC finds a way and Brady executes. It’s a damn shame that you can’t find a way to get the best wr(if not the best player period) in the game involved.

I’ve looked at Linehan this year from his misuse of CJ to stumbling around the question of how to coordinate the ground game and just shook my head. I’m not a Linehan hater but I think he could do a far better job, especially with all this talent around him.

Follet did the English broadcast for whatever game it was

He was on the pre and post and half time “show” which consisted of him and two old guys talking. He told stories about how strong Suh is. It was weird.

Yeah

Statistically the Lions can get in with one more win. However, 2 wins and they are in for sure. So, it would be nice to have next week be a win and your in scenario at home against the Chargers.
